The Law Firm of HERRERA TEEHANKEE & CABRERA was established in 1986 (then known as Herrera Laurel De Los Reyes Roxas and Teehankee Law Offices). 

The Firm is engaged in general law practice and maintains the following practice groups: corporate law, special projects, litigation, tax, labor relations, land titles and deeds, intellectual property and immigration.  The Firm is committed to delivering prompt and efficient services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of its clients and to protect their interests.

The Firm's extensive experience in corporate law practice has enabled it to effectively guide its clients through mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, the sale and purchase of assets, loans, initial public offerings, registration of securities, corporate restructuring, and other major commercial transactions. The Firm's services cover all aspects of a given transaction. The Firm conducts legal due diligence audits and advises its clients on the implications or consequences of the transaction in question.  In helping its clients formulate their overal strategies, the Firm identifies issues or potential areas of concern and recommend the best solutions to resolve these matters.  The Firm also negotiate contracts, draft agreements and render opinions.  Moreover, the Firm takes care of post-closing and reportorial requirements such as liaising with the appropriate government agencies and filing the necessary reports.  The Firm likewise perform corporate housekeeping services and ensure that its clients are in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

The Firm's experience in litigation practice is similarly considerable.  The Firm handles civil, criminal and administrative cases before the trial and appellate courts, administrative and arbitration bodies, and quasi-judicial agencies.  Its advocacy is founded on crafting coherent strategies that are geared toward the successful settlement or disposition of disputes and take into account the objectives of its clients as well as other relevant concerns.  The Firm devotes substantial time and effort to establishing the facts of a given case, reveiwing all pertinent records, drafting pleadings, affidavits and other supporting documents, and interviewing and preparing witenesses.

In the field of labor law, the Firm handles a substantial number of cases.  It also handles collective bargaining negotiations, review company policies and render advice on company policies and the implementation of various rules and regulations.
